- Are the ceramics dishwasher- and foodsafe? -Yes, unless otherwise specified, all my work is both dishwasher- and foodsafe. Intricate Vases should in theory also survive the dishwasher, I wouldn't necessarily try it out, though.
- What materials do yo use? -I mostly work with fine grain, white clay because I love using it as visible base colour but it also functions as a great base for colourful glazes. Sometimes I do like messing around with porcelain because (or in spite) of the crazy plasticity.
- Do you do commissioned work? -Absolutely, get in touch with me through [email protected] where we can talk about ideas and concepts, sketches and individual pricing.
- Will you recreate pieces? -Generally I am more into creating one-off things, though multiple versions of the same items will be available now and again. I would not recreate commissioned pieces.
- Do you have any other pages? -As of now I only have an instagram page, the username is casa.moony or instagram.com/casamoony where I post sneak-peaks of pretty things to come, show the process of making some of these things and much more of what I am also yet to find out, but I'd be excited if you followed along
- Where do you ship from/to? -I live and work in Vienna Austria, and will therefore be shipping from there, too. If you live in Vienna or are visiting, I am happy to deliver your order myself, it's cheaper, better for the environment and I can control and micro-manage every last step hihi. I also ship to the all of Austria for 5-8€. As for the rest of the world, message me and let's find a solution together as I do not have an official shipping partner yet :)
FAQ Abortion Vessels
- Which organisations will the money go to? - theafiyacenter.org, wrrap.org and nwaafund.org are the independent, non-profit organisations I picked after much consideration and reading through a large amount of different abortion funds.
- How much will you be donating? -Since I'm at the start of creating this business for myself, I am not quite sure what the individual item's material cost (+firing costs) is, so for these specific items I will be estimating the costs at a lower percentage of 15%, as the prices are slightly higher to reflect the cause but also because this is the amount of money that I need to keep to not further endebt myself due to giving away $$$ before ever cutting a profit. If all the abortion vessels sell, I will also follow up with the donation receipts on here and on instagram.
- Why are reproductive rights so important to you? -Essential human rights are being taken away under a bullshit pseudo-religious guise, in many of the alledgedly most developed nations state's 50% of citizens lost the right to control their uteruses and BODIES and if going back to that in the 21st century is not some of the most dystopian shit you've ever heard then I. don't. know.
